Review the Treasurer's Office Tuition and Fees Page for details: https://treasurernet.uark.edu/Tuition.aspx

Airfare-
Students are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.

Meals-
This budget assumes a $150/week budget for food. Depending on the student's housing choices and personal habits, this can be highly variable.

Books-
Books, supplies & supplemental course fees can vary widely by academic program and destination.

Personal Expenses-
Personal spending habits vary greatly. Students should budget for personal travel and activities, laundry and toiletry items, and other necessities.

Room & Board-Lodging is included in the UA Program Fee for this institution. Students enroll at PdT through a consoritum of SEC schools- housing is guaranteed at Collegio Universitario Renato Einaudi.

Health Insurance -
International Health Insurance is required to obtain a student visa and enroll in academic programs in this country. This figure assumes 5 months of coverage from the University of Arkansas provider, Cultural Insurance (CISI). The study abroad office will enroll students in this plan and provide proof of coverage. All travelers should maintain their regular US coverage while abroad.

Visa-
The Italian Student Visa application can be submitted through the University of Arkansas. The total cost includes approximately $100 in fees, postage, and materials before departure.

Passport-$165 is the approximate total cost of a new passport. Immigration requirements for most study abroad destinations require that a student's passport be valid for at least 6 months AFTER the conclusion of their study abroad program. Expediting a passport application can be more expensive.

Immunizations-
The Office of Study Abroad recommends all students to the Pat Walker Health Center Immunization & Travel Clinic. Students can review travel recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and confirm that they are up to date on all required or recommended vaccinations. Contact the Travel Clinic at 479-575-7723.

Local Transportation – This estimate assumes $40-50 on public transportation around the community where students study.
