Program Information:?
During your Summer in Madrid, you’ll study at an accredited, local Spanish university around the corner from the heart of the city. Summer sunshine, excellent academics, fun excursions, and a close-knit campus community makes this an ideal Spanish summer experience. The Universidad Antonio de Nebrija offers a serene campus in contrast to the bustling city that surrounds it. Madrid is famous for its wide, leafy plazas, vast museums, and dazzling nightlife. Prepare to go to sleep at sunset, take a siesta mid day, and dine on tapas when the stars come out. This is a summer for the ages.

Highlights:
  • Centrally located campus, where the heart of the city is a short walk away
  • University-organized activities and clubs
  • Spanish language classes for all levels
  • Staff support and a new-student orientation
  • University with a strong international student community

Location:
Madrid is both the capital of Spain and the country's largest city. It's home to four million people, and is Spain's center for art, shopping, cuisine, film, and politics. Don't be intimidated by the city's impressive size—it offers something for every traveler. Madrid's public transportation system makes it easy for students to travel through the city.

Be sure to tour some of Madrid's famous museums, like the Prado Museum, which contains one of the most impressive collections of European art. If politics and government interest you, check out the Parliament building. Food lovers will rejoice at the streets lined with every culinary treat and option imaginable. If you're more of a night owl, then Madrid's legendary nightlife will keep you entertained. It's not uncommon to encounter more traffic after midnight than you do during the day.

For a city with options for every mood, look no further than Madrid. From ancient cobblestone streets to bustling boulevards, Madrid will keep you charmed and entertained during one of the best semesters of your life.
