Program Description:
TD-UWollongong
IFSA - University of Wollongong Partnership
Geotag  Wollongong, Australia

WHY STUDY IN CITY?
Rich with surfing beaches and rock pools, Wollongong is a seaside city. Enjoy beachside cafés on the coast and laid-back restaurants on the Keira Street “eat street,” plus a vibrant arts scene that includes the Wollongong Art Gallery and the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre. Explore the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere, Nan Tien Temple, and its surrounding tranquil gardens, and enjoy a rainforest walk in the lower foothills of Mount Keira. Wollongong has a relaxed vibe, perfect for the true “Aussie experience.”

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Find everything from computer science to communications to creative arts at this large university. With fewer commuting students than other Aussie schools, it’s easier to get to know Australian peers here. Gather on campus at Duck Pond Lawn or head to the nearby beach to catch some waves.

With four beaches and a national park next door, Wollongong is every bit as beautiful and more affordable than Sydney or Melbourne. Keep an eye out for seals, dolphins, and whales as you walk the iconic Blue Mile Walk from North Beach to Wollongong Harbor. Must-see Sydney is just 90 minutes by train, making it easy to explore icons like the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Also included, a full range of tours and activities designed to make sure you see other areas, like lush Hunter Valley and the Blue Mountains, and help you discover deep-set indigenous traditions.

Visit IFSA - University of Wollongong Partnership on the IFSA website for complete academic details including a list of classes and syllabi.
