Program Description:


Students must be enrolled in Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences and be registered for academic credit in the semester of their travel abroad program to receive the scholarship award.

Requirements for Recipients

Students who are awarded Bumpers College international scholarships will be expected to fulfill the following requirements regarding their international experience:

  1. Provide 15-20 photos that highlight your educational and cultural experience abroad. (NOTE: Please provide a photo of you during your experience for promotional purposes.)
  2. Complete a follow up questionnaire for program feedback and promotional purposes.
  3. Participate in an International Programs Office event, such as the Study Abroad Fair, information sessions, or a Global Food Opportunities Seminar. Or assist in a recruiting event such as class presentations or Carnival of Clubs.
  4. Complete an IPO Student Blog highlighting your study abroad experience. 

Additional expectations and requirements may apply. Recipients should refer to their award letters for specific instructions.

Additional Information

International Programs scholarships are open to both undergraduate and graduate students in Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences who plan to participate in a study abroad or internship program for a semester, a year or an intersession or summer term. The scholarship is used to cover a portion of the cost of the student’s international flight, accommodations and/or in-country transportation. The amount of the scholarship is determined by the type and length of the study program and available funds.
