DIS Summer in Scandinavia 

Our summer calendar makes it easy to mix and match sessions between Stockholm and Copenhagen and stay for the amount of time that is right for you. Choose between three-week and six-week sessions, or combine sessions to stay up to nine weeks and earn up to nine credits over your summer.

Use Europe as your classroom when on week-long Study Tour, where you travel with your class to better understand your academic topics in a new, relevant context. Study Tours are included in all courses within Session 2, both Furniture Design Sessions, and the Architecture & Design Session, plus select other courses.

In this signature summer session, enroll in lab, research, or practicum opportunities that include:
  • 6 weeks in Copenhagen or Stockholm
  • Invaluable international lab experience focusing on simulations of biomedical procedures or neurodegeneration modeling
  • Joining an engaged community of scholars across various disciplines to collaborate on their research projects as a Research Assistant
  • Designing your own start-up project, then working within a local startup business as you learn what it takes to build a young company

Special Partnership Courses with CYA
These are 4-week, 4-credit courses that take place across two locations. Half of the course takes place in Athens, Greece and the other half in either Copenhagen, Denmark or Stockholm, Sweden.
