European Art and Culture

Spend January Term traveling through iconic cities in Europe with AIFS Abroad! Spend 3 nights in London, 4 nights in Paris, 2 nights in Nice, 2 nights in Milan, 2 nights in Venice, 3 nights in Florence and 3 nights in Rome studying the masterpieces of art history.

Where You'll Study

Earn 3 semester credits combining classroom work with the opportunity to see a wealth of European art and culture for yourself. The course includes numerous museum, gallery and site visits to enhance classroom study and really bring the subject alive. Learn while traveling through England, France, and Italy.

Academic credit for the European Art and Culture program is awarded by Fairfield University. Fairfield University is a private Jesuit university founded in 1942 in Fairfield, Connecticut, well known for their commitment to international education. Fairfield is a fully accredited university and a member of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. In 2020 Fairfield and AIFS Abroad partnered to develop a school of record relationship that will allow academic credit to be available for both Fairfield and non-Fairfield students. Faculty credentials for the European Art and Culture Program are reviewed and approved by Fairfield University.
