Program Description:

Study in Dubai!

This summer, semester, or academic year program offers a diverse curriculum through direct enrollment at the American University in Dubai (AUD). Established as the first private university in Dubai, one of the most diverse and metropolitan cities in the world, AUD is American not only in name but also in substance.

AUD follows a total American curriculum and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) in the United States as well as the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education.

We encourage global understanding by providing an atmosphere of cultural diversity and opportunities for international education. With over 105 nationalities represented on campus, AUD truly is a globalized and diverse international institution of higher education.

Academics

There are 6 schools that offer a wide range of academic and certificate programs at AUD. These include:
  • School of Business Administration
  • School of Engineering
  • Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication (MBRSC)
  • School of Arts & Sciences
  • School of Architecture, Art, and Design
  • School of Education

With the exception of language classes, courses are taught in English, making them easily accessible to study abroad students. A list of Undergraduate and Graduate programs are available online, and available courses for upcoming semesters are listed at AUD Course Schedules.

For students who would like to develop a deeper understanding of the history, Arabic language, and culture of the Middle East region, are encouraged to consider AUD’s Certificate in Middle Eastern Studies. This certificate is also available to recently graduated students!
