Dublin, Ireland
Spend a semester or year in the lively city of Dublin, Ireland, with AIFS! Study a variety of academic program options at Dublin City University. This program offers students an international experience living in a multicultural global capital city combined with the local, friendly small-town feel that living in Ireland always brings.

AIFS Abroad has designed the Study + Internship Program to combine a traditional academic learning experience with a unique opportunity to study working life in Ireland firsthand with placements in Dublin-based organizations. Students select two or three courses of 3 credits each from the regular offering of courses on the International Program at DCU in addition to a 6-credit internship in their field of study for up to 15 credits. Placements are available in the following fields: accounting, business, communications, engineering, finance, graphic design, IT, law, marketing, NGO (a non-profit organization), psychology, and many more.

You'll live on campus in a student apartment with en-suite bedrooms with a study area as well as a shared kitchen and living area.

Enjoy cultural and social activities including:
  • Group meals
  • Irish music nights
  • Guinness Storehouse visit
  • Museum and gallery visits
  • Walking tours
  • Irish sporting events
  • Theater performances
  • Visits to local seaside towns
Excursions to Cork and Kilkenny (2 days) and a day trip to a working Irish farm are included. A 3-day trip to Galway is available as an optional excursion.
